Wall Industries, Inc. is pleased to announce that it is an International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) certified company. ITAR is a set of regulations, emplaced by the United States government, for controlling the export and import of defense-related articles and services listed on the United States Munitions List. The provisions of the Arms Export Control Act are implemented by ITAR’s regulations and are described in Title 22 (Foreign Relations), Chapter I (Department of State), Subchapter M of the Code of Federal Regulations. ITAR is interpreted and enforced by the Department of State.
ITAR limits the sharing of defense and military related technologies (listed on the US Munitions list) to U.S. Persons only. Authorization from the Department of State or a special exemption is required if the need exists to share ITAR-protected materials, services, or information with foreign persons.
