Just introduced are wall mount and desktop AC/DC power supplies ranging from 6 watts to 310. Several existing products have also been updated to meet the new standard.
Exeter, NH, February 10, 2016– Wall Industries has introduced 54 additional product series that meet new U.S Department of Energy’s new Efficiency Level VI standards. Just introduced are wall mount and desktop AC/DC power supplies ranging from 6 watts to 310. Several existing products have also been updated to meet the new standard.
“Level VI compliance continues to impact the industry by requiring the manufacturers to qualify new power sources to this more stringent regulation,” said General Manager of Wall Industries, Tim Powers.
New industry standards are requiring most external power supplies to comply with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Level VI Efficiency update by February 10, 2016. Any qualifying external power supplies manufactured after this date will have to meet these new standards. This Level VI update requires that these power supplies use less energy while still supplying the same amount of power. Supplies will need to have a no-load power maximum of 0.21W and 49-250W supplies will have to have 87% to 88% efficiency.
