Exeter, NH, Jan 20, 2011 – Wall Industries, Inc. broadens its product offering with the new LANCW15 and LANCUW15 series of DC/DC converters. These converters provide 15 Watts of output power in a standard 24-pin 1.25” x 0.80” x 0.40” DIP package. The LANCW15 series operates over 2:1 input voltage ranges of 9-18, 18-36, and 36-75VDC and the LANCUW15 series operates over 4:1 input voltage ranges of 9-36 and 18-75VDC. These two series have 3.3, 5.1, 12, and 15VDC single output and ±5, ±12 and ±15VDC dual output models available. Standard features for both series include high efficiency up to 90%, low standby power dissipation, input under voltage lockout, 1600VDC I/O isolation, positive remote ON/OFF control, and six-sided shielding. These DC/DC converters are also protected against over voltage (single output models only), over load, and short circuit conditions.
The LANCW15 and LANCUW15 series of DC/DC power converters have no minimum load requirements and operate over an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +100°C (with derating). These converters are useful for a variety of applications some of which include industry control systems, telecom/datacom, wireless networks, measurement equipment, semiconductor equipment, and railway applications. All models in these two series have UL60950-1, EN60950-1, and IEC60950-1 safety approvals and are also compliant to RoHS EU Directive 2002/95/EC.
