These converters have medical (UL/cUL 60601-1) safety approvals and are specially designed to provide ultra high levels of isolation in a 24-pin Dual-in-line package. These converters have a power rating of 6 watts and operate over 2:1 input voltage ranges of 9~18VDC, 18~36VDC, and 36~75VDC. This series also provides regulated single and dual outputs of 5, 12, ±12 and ±15VDC.

Exeter, NH, May 28, 2009 – Wall Industries, Inc. Introduces the ME Series, a new product line within our medical approved DC/DC converters. These converters have medical (UL/cUL 60601-1) safety approvals and are specially designed to provide ultra high levels of isolation in a 24-pin Dual-in-line package. These converters have a power rating of 6 watts and operate over 2:1 input voltage ranges of 9~18VDC, 18~36VDC, and 36~75VDC. This series also provides regulated single and dual outputs of 5, 12, ±12 and ±15VDC.
The ME series is housed in 1.25” x 0.8” x 0.47” Dual in-line package and only weighs 0.63 ounces. Additional features include low leakage current, over load and short circuit protection, 5600VDC I/O isolation, and MTBF > 7000,000 hours. The -40°C to +55°C operating temperature makes this series ideal for data communication equipment, mobile battery driven equipment, distributed power systems, process/machine control equipment, telecommunications equipment, mixed analog/digital subsystems, computer peripheral systems, and industrial robot systems.
