Re: Import Tariffs Notice
Dear Valued Customer,
Given the unstable nature of tariffs on imported products from various nations we have re-evaluated our strategy on dealing with this.
As advised on April 10, 2025, per our terms and conditions we must charge for the tariffs on imports whether it be an increase or decrease. Please note tariff charges are applicable based on time of product entering into the United States; not based on the date which an order was placed or the date which we are shipping the order to you.
Our approach will be one geared towards billing a separate percentage, with Wall absorbing a small amount of that cost, based on the tariffs Wall incurs per the decisions of our suppliers. We feel that not raising the unit cost and separately adding the tariff based on when the product enters the country will allow us to be more equitable to our customers.
Please note we do not disclose specific details other than Wall absorbs some of the tariff fees in good faith.
Customers will see billing of tariffs in one of two ways:
- A separate line item on the invoice, for the tariff charge, based on time of entry into the US.
- A separate invoice for the tariff charge following the actual shipment of product. These invoices will reference the customer purchase order number and Wall’s original invoice number for shipment of product.
Our primary objective is to minimize supply chain disruption, be transparent and equitable with our customers and to continue to support your requirements at the highest levels.
When an order is placed, you will receive a tariff letter that you will be required to be sign and returned to Wall upon order placement, with no exceptions. Once received we can release your purchase order to production.
HTS Code and Country of Origin can be provided upon request.
If tariff fees are not paid for, we will be required to put a shipment hold on your account or require CIA for future purchase orders.
