Wall Industries Introduces Nuclear Event Detector & Shutdown Circuit
Exeter, NH, January 29, 2018– Wall Industries, Inc. has recently introduced a nuclear event detector and shut down circuit for use in MIL 1275 power systems. This ATPD-240B (SREMP) and (HEMP) tested module is able to detect when a nuclear event occurs and send a flag to report it. Within 10µs of the detected event, the circuit supplies a pulse for system deactivation that allows the system to be latched off and ready for reset.
This new circuit is fully encapsulated in an epoxy compound and comes in a very compact 1.25″ x 0.70″ x 0.31″ through hole package. It requires a MIL 1275 input to function and can be configured as an active high or open collector low. For further information, please contact Wall Industries.
