Wall Industries Launches “My Supply”,
A Source for Hard-to-Find Power Solutions

Establishes a single source for discontinued dc/dc converters and ac/dc power supplies
Program leverages customized manufacturing and modified standard expertise
Exeter, NH, April 27, 2005- - Responding to a growing market need, Wall Industries, Inc. today announced the expansion of its custom power business by providing a source for hard-to-find power solutions. The move is designed to leverage the company’s ability to quickly and cost effectively design, manufacture and ship modified standard and customized power solutions. By dedicating a component of the company’s resources to this initiative, design engineers enjoy an immediate benefit of having a resource capable of providing hard-to-find power products or those products no longer supported by other manufacturers.
Believed to be the first such industry initiative, Wall Industries also will expand its website to include a section called “My Supply” where customers may enter their power sourcing challenges and expect a response within 24 hours. With in-house design engineering and manufacturing located domestically, Wall Industries is particularly suited to responding to custom production runs in excess of 100 pieces.
The company’s products are used in many types of equipment ranging from industrial to telecom applications. “Applications requiring 40 watts or less are one of the prime power market segments we’ve identified,” said Russ Berube, marketing and distribution manager for the company. “After other manufacturers stop supporting a product, customers can now turn to us to keep their equipment operating,” he explained.
“Engineering expertise and manufacturing flexibility combine to satisfy customers unable to source dc/dc converters and ac/dc power supplies elsewhere,” emphasized John Regan, general manager of the company. “My Supply,” he continued, “is one of several customer-focused initiatives Wall is launching this year. The program simultaneously leverages our strengths and solves our customer’s predicament. This is not a question of second source. In many cases we’re the only source.”
