WALL INDUSTRIES CG SERIES OFFERS UP TO 30 WATTS IN A 1" X 2" PACKAGE

Exeter, NH, December 16, 2004- - Broadening its product offering, Wall Industries, Incorporated announces the release of the “CG” Series of dc/dc converters. These converters deliver up to 30 watts and are package in an industry-standard 1" x 2" x 0.40" enclosure.

 

The CG Series offers a 2:1 input range of either 18-36Vin or 36-75Vin. Output voltages are available in 2.5, 3.3, 5, 5.1, 12 and 15Vout. Housed in an industry standard 1" x 2" package, the CG series has the footprint and power capacity equivalent to a 1.6" x 2" package, saving 37.5% of the footprint area occupied by comparable products.

 

Many additional features are designed into the CG Series, including remote on/off, output trim, efficiencies to 88%, soft start, SCP and OVP, six side shield, 1500VDC I/O isolation, lead-free construction and an -40°C to +105°C case temperature operating range. The product is rated with an MTBF of 600,000 to MIL-HDBK-217F.
