WALL INDUSTRIES LAUNCHES THE DMW SERIES OF DC/DC CONVERTERS

Exeter, NH, November 9, 2004- - Wall Industries, Incorporated announces the release of the DMW series, a new family of 15 Watt, dc/dc converters. The flexible DMW series is designed for use in a variety of applications, such as data communication equipment, mobile battery-driven equipment, distributed power systems, telecommunication, mixed analog/digital subsystems, process/machine controls and others. Wall Industries is also capable of rapidly customizing the DMW series for specific applications.

 

Featuring a 4 to 1 input range, the DMW series is available in 9-36Vin or 18-75Vin inputs, with either single or dual outputs. Output voltages include 3.3, 5, 5.1, 12, 15, +/-12 and +/-15Vout. All DMW converters are housed in a 1" x 2" x 0.40" industry standard package and pin-out. Weighing less than one ounce, the DMW series operates at efficiencies of up to 86%. Added features include insulation of 1500VDC, short circuit protection, six-side shielding, a remote on/off option and a MTBF rating of >700,000 hours.
